Alaw did myself and my bridesmaids/mother of the bride's hair for my wedding at the start of September and I cannot begin to explain how beautiful everyone's looks were. She is not only incredibly talented at what she does but she is also such a calming person to have around in the chaos of a wedding morning. She was chatting away to my whole bridal party and making them feel as comfortable as they could be. I would 100% recommend her for both her talent and personality.

I can't rave enough about Alaw. Did the most phenomenal job of my hair, recommended hair extensions that were so good people didn't know what was my real hair and what wasn't. Also did a fab job of my bridal party - a blow dry, hair up, hair down, half up, she didn't bat an eyelid and did them all amazingly. She also stuck around to retouch hair and even help me into my dress. Book her!

From the very beginning, you were so professional, organised and lovely to deal with. You made everything so easy and stress-free, which was exactly what I needed on such an important day.

I cannot recommend Calon Bridal Hair highly enough! Alaw did hair for me, my bridesmaids and my mum on my wedding morning, and she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

From our first conversations, her communication was excellent. She was always friendly, organised and quick to respond, which made the whole planning process completely stress-free.

On the wedding morning, Alaw created such a calm, relaxed atmosphere. She instantly put everyone at ease, and it felt like having another friend there getting us ready. She listened to what each of us wanted and styled everyone's hair beautifully. Every hairstyle looked amazing, stayed in place all day and evening, and everyone was genuinely so happy with the results.

Alaw did myself and my bridesmaids’ hair for my wedding in November and we honestly could not recommend her more! She made the three of us look and feel amazing.

For me (the bride), Alaw did Hollywood waves with slicked down front sections tied underneath, and for my two bridesmaids she did a wavy half up half down style with bows that matched their dresses.

Alaw is not only an amazing stylist but just a fab person in general - so friendly and easy to talk to, you never feel awkward asking anything as she is so approachable and knowledgeable. She helped with so much more than just our hair on the wedding morning as well.

Alaw was fab from start to finish. From calming my nerves to helping me get into my dress, she really goes above and beyond. Alaw is just amazing ! From meeting her first at a wedding fair, my trial and the actual day she was just absolutely fantastic. She showed me options until we agreed on ' the one'.

Not only is she incredibly talented but she is just such a lovely person who puts you at your ease, and is a naturally warm and friendly person and even helped with my final ' tweaks' before leaving for the Church.

She was also lovely with the children.

Our hairstyles lasted all day long and were so perfectly done.

I would 1000% recommend Alaw to anyone looking for a hairdresser for their wedding. From the trial to the wedding morning she was extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect. Al had some great advice regarding where to get hair accessories from and took photos of everything at the trial so we were completely calm and organised on the wedding morning.

Five bridesmaids, myself and my mum had our hair done and not a single hair fell out of place for any of us (even late into the night dancing). She was central to the runnings of the morning and really went above and beyond to help me and the bridal party get ready. Thank you so much Al!

Alaw from Calon Bridal Hair was my hair stylist for my wedding day. I would highly recommend to any other brides-to-be who are currently looking for their wedding hair stylist!

Alaw is a really friendly and bubbly person. She made me feel at ease throughout the morning on my wedding day. Alaw recognised when I started to feel a bit nervous and asked me if I was okay and whether I needed anything, which was really sweet of her.

Alaw arrived on time and brought everything we could possibly need for our hair with her (including an extension plug, which we forgot!)

Alaw is a very talented hair stylist and was able to create a variety of beautiful styles for myself and my bridesmaids. I loved my bun - it was exactly what I’d always wanted. Each hairstyle suited the individual who wore it so well and we all had so many lovely compliments about our hair.

Our hair stayed in place all day long and throughout an evening of dancing and celebrations!

Alaw is the most incredible wedding hairstylist and I feel so lucky I was able to have her as part of my day. From the beginning of the booking process she was nothing but warm, professional and responsive and has remained lovely throughout. Nothing is too much to ask and her website is so easy to access and informative.

On the day, Alaw was so wonderful. She is such a lovely and kind person and made all of us feel at ease. It was as if she was a part of the bridal party and had known us all for years. My hair was absolutely perfect, I had the Hollywood waves (a specialty of Alaw's) and everyone commented on how beautiful they looked. They also did not move an inch on the day and stayed perfect for photos despite lots of dancing and windswept photos.

My bridal party were also all obsessed with their hair and everyone felt so beautiful. One member commented that she had had her hair done for weddings on many occasions and Alaw's style was by far the best she's ever had. I am so thankful and grateful to Alaw for her work and for just generally being amazing. I would 100% recommend to any brides!! She's just outstanding.

I got married in Aug 2024 at the Oldwalls. I was struggling to find a hairstylist who was jumping out to me so my MUA recommended Alaw. She really couldn't have been a better choice. Alaw did my hair and 3 of my Bridesmaids. Everyone looked fab and the hair lasted all day!

Now obviously you want to look amazing (which Alaw will definitely deliver). That being said, the stand out reason I would recommend Alaw was how immediately at ease she made me feel. I am not someone that likes to make a fuss, but without prompting, from the get go Alaw made it very clear if I wasn't happy with something we could change as many times as needed. She was also more thay happy to do a different hair style for each of my bridesmaids.

She was a calming presence on the day. She even stayed right to the very end to make sure my veil was attached and everything looked perfect. Of all the vendors we booked, Alaw would be my most recommended for sure. Thank you for everything.

Absolutely wonderful bridal hair stylist! Not only is Alaw a lovely person but she's so professional and a master of her craft. I was nervous looking for a stylist as I have short, thin and fine hair so felt I was limited. Having a trial put me at ease as Alaw was able to create the updo I had always wanted. Not only with hair but she was also so helpful on the morning of the wedding helping me get dressed when time was running a bit tight. During all of this she was a calming presence, never rushed and my hair stayed in place all day receiving many compliments! The mother of the bride and bridesmaid were equally happy especially Mum who was nervous her hat wouldn't sit right. Alaw has a wealth of experience and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Would 100% recommend Alaw as your wedding hair stylist! Not only was she a perfectionist with everyone’s hair but she was so kind, thoughtful and calming during the wedding morning! She really put me at ease and helped with the morning nerves! Our hair lasted all day long - some of these photos are at the end of the day! All the bridesmaids hair looked so beautiful and they were so pleased, especially with how thick she made all of our hair look!
